About
About Jonas Meisner
I am an Assistant Professor in population and statistical genetics at the University of Copenhagen.

Principal Investigator
Background and research
My research focuses on developing accurate and scalable computational tools in population and statistical genetics.
My current work centers on hapla, fastmixture, and swerge. I run the Meisner Lab rooted in the Rasmussen Group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research.
Research approach
Statistical methods and software for genetic data
Current projects cover haplotype analysis, ancestry estimation, and whole-genome regression, with an emphasis on sound inference and efficient computation.
